I do not have a direct opinion to whether books should or should not be made into movies, because it depends. Stories are sometimes more interesting and exciting when watched on screen. However if all stories were to be shortened to two hours instead of five or six (depending on how long it takes to read a book). The rush can skip a lot of details and vocabulary.
