CLUE

In the beginning was the Word. This Word was with God. This Word was and is God. This Word was in the beginning with God. This Word is Jesus.

Jesus contains life. This life is a light to man. Man looks for a light shining in the darkness. Man looks for Jesus shining in the darkness. The darkness cannot overcome the light.

The Word who created the world, the Light which enlightens all men, was coming into the world. He came to his wandering own, whom he created, whom he loved, and whom were lost. Many even rejected their creator and light. But even still, some received the light and became children of God, and became "little lights".


The word that Moses gave to God's chosen people was from God. But the Word that came down from heaven was God,and the Word wanted to proclaim what was written about himself. Moses brought the laws, but through Jesus Christ, grace and truth overflowed to the people like a fountain of life. And God proclaimed to us and made himself known,through the Word.
